JUNE 2008Equipment installed without prior consultationThe Council allocated a plot of the Jardin Blanc to a children's carousel, relocated to the 15th arrondissement after opposition from residents near the square Maurice-Gardette (11th arrondissement); an amendment from the 15th providing for its removal in case of nuisance was adopted.JUNE 2005The designers retain a right of vetoAsked about the play equipment in the Jardin Blanc, the deputy mayor recalled that this garden is one hectare out of the park's fourteen, that its designers retain an intellectual property right blocking any major modification, and put the cost of renovating the play area at €150,000.
