Understand

In force or closed: what does the page count?

The page's number is the value of the contracts in force today. The register keeps every contract published since 2002, closed ones included: that is what the search and the modalities work on.

Contracts without a value

Of the 8.588 contracts, 1.233 take their amount from the PNCP, Brazil's national procurement portal: the City's register stopped publishing amounts after 2021. Another 676 are on the PNCP only and were added. Neither gives the amount of 2.600 contracts, and the City does not give the year of 27: those stay out of the totals and the yearly chart. 4 are revenue (the City receives the amount: an auction of a credit, an onerous concession) and 1 has an amount incompatible with the budget: out of the totals too.

Where do these numbers come from?

From the administrative contracts published on the City of Recife's open data portal, one by one, with their object, supplier, value and term. Since 2024, the amounts the portal stopped publishing come from the PNCP, Brazil's national procurement portal, contract by contract; contracts only the PNCP lists were added.
