Understand
What counts as a place here?
1,068 City facilities, as the City publishes them: health units, schools, culture and sport venues, squares. Each has its address and its page; 26 of them carry an amount.
Contracted, not paid: what is the difference?
A place’s amount is the value of the works contracts whose object names it, at signature. It is not what was paid, nor everything the place costs: day-to-day running is not broken down by place. 1,042 places have no contract naming them.
Where do these numbers come from?
The City’s directory of facilities and its contracts, published on its open data portal; the match is the place’s name in the contract’s object. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons, under a free licence, with their credit.
