Awards published without an amount add nothing to the figure.

When the register prints one amount beside several winners of a competition, the total counts it once.

Awarded amounts are what the City agreed at award. What it later paid each supplier is published only in the annual Statement of Financial Information.

Before 2015, most competitions list a single response. Losing bids appear routinely from 2015, so compare bidder counts from that year on.
