What the town paid in 2025 for these kinds of purchase, from its accounts
- Electricity, gas and heatingall suppliers together · contract in the list: Électricité de Francepaid €2.8M
The accounts say how much was paid for each kind of purchase, not to which company. A purchase paid by another public body (joint order, shared service) is not in them.
Why this total differs from the €45.5M of purchases, services and works paid to companies
These are the amounts of the contracts signed in the year, over their whole length, not what was paid. The money paid in a year also goes to older contracts and to purchases too small to be published (under €40,000 excl. VAT). For a framework agreement, the amount is a ceiling.
Investment and works

Understanding these figures
Running costs and works: what is the difference?
Running costs are each year’s spending: wages, energy, upkeep, grants. Works create or renovate something that lasts: a school, a road, a sports hall.
How is the comparison with towns of the same size made?
The towns of 50,000 to 100,000 inhabitants are ranked from lowest to highest value; the median is the value in the middle. A value above or below the median is not a judgement: it depends on the area, the population and the powers held by the intercommunality.
Where do these figures come from?
From the town’s accounts kept by the public accountant (DGFiP), the local finance observatory (OFGL) and public procurement data. Qipu changes no amount.
