Marseille: suppliers and recipients

The public contracts of Marseille

Up to €144.1M: the maximum amount of the public contracts signed in 2026, over their whole term.

1,298 contracts in 2026 · €759M published from 2020 to 2026. Maximum amounts planned.

Contracts state a maximum amount for their whole term, often several years. That amount differs from what was paid.

4 contracts of 2026 (€4M published) are left out of the total and the lists: the same ceiling copied onto the lots of one framework agreement, the same publication twice, a framework ceiling above a quarter of the town’s yearly spending, or an out-of-scale amount.

Understanding these figures

What does a contract’s amount measure?

A contract’s amount is the maximum allowed over its whole term, often several years: it is not what the town spends in the year. The lots of one contract are grouped.

Where do these figures come from?

Contracts above €40,000 excluding VAT, as declared when they are awarded (DECP): contract amounts, not payments. Smaller contracts are not published; obviously wrong amounts are set aside.
