What this number measures
Each contract is published with the maximum it may reach over its whole term, often four years. What the City then pays each holder is not published; its total spending is in the executed budget. The page’s number adds those maximums for the contracts signed in the year; a multi-year framework counts in the year it is signed, a shared lot counts once.
Contracts signed on a single bid
The number of bids received has been published since 2024 in the essential public procurement data. A single bid can come from a very specialised market, or from a procedure without competition allowed by the procurement code. The data does not say which.
Where these figures come from
The City of Paris’s contract list on opendata.paris.fr up to 2024, then the national essential procurement data (DECP) on data.gouv.fr. A lot won by several companies is published once per company; it counts once here.
