C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, network of ~96 major cities worldwide (1/12 of global population) founded in 2005 by Ken Livingstone. Urban climate action: greenhouse-gas reduction, adaptation, air quality, green jobs. Anne Hidalgo was the first female president (2016). Paris is a member.
