Italian-style theatre (10th, near Place de la République) built in 1781 by Nicolas Lenoir for Marie-Antoinette; renamed in 1802. Temple of romantic drama under Harel (Dumas, Hugo). Rebuilt in 1873 after the Commune. Currently occupied by the Comédie-Française until 17 July 2026.
